We provide Russian language tuition for businesses and individuals from a beginner’s level up to TRFL examination (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language), which is certified by the Russian Ministry of Education. If you are planning to study at a Russian university, our team of highly professional and experienced tutors will help you obtain your TRFL first level certificate, which allows you to enrol at any university where Russian is the language of instruction, and can even help you decide which one to choose. Note that TRFL assessment is also required in order to apply for Russian citizenship, in accordance with the immigration rules of the Russian Federation.

RTC also offer tailor-made courses in a number of other languages, which presently include Arabic, English, French, German, Finnish and Swedish. All language tuition is conducted by native speakers, and lessons can be taught individually or in a group.

RTC offers courses in foreign languages, music and the fine arts.

For all language courses we devote maximum time and attention to the development of communication skills in the foreign language, combining the learning of vocabulary with language for everyday situations and a systematic study of grammar.

Topical discussions, texts and dialogues consolidate the study of grammar. The aim is to equip the student with the necessary linguistic means to effectively express his/her thoughts, ideas and opinions in everyday life. This is achieved through constant honing of conversational skills through role-plays, which affords significant progress in the study of the language in a short space of time.

All of our teachers of foreign languages are professionally qualified and native speakers of the taught language. Upon request however, we can provide a Russian-speaking teacher for the early stages of a language course.

We welcome and support the aspirations of our tutors to further their qualifications at well known universities and educational establishments. This allows us to amass information, exchange experience and try out contemporary teaching methods.

Musical and fine arts courses are also conducted by experienced, qualified teachers. Courses are taught in both Russian and English.

RTC's tutors make use of a wide selection of well known and highly recommended teaching methods and materials which have been adopted by prestigious educational institutions and have been developed in accordance with contemporary international standards.

Our students therefore automatically attain levels of study recognised in Europe and in the USA, enabling them to sit examinations set by independent commissions (e.g. TOEFL, Trinity College London assessments, Royal Academy of Music, etc), for official documentation of the level they have attained, and to continue their studies elsewhere following completion of their course at RTC.

RTC presents its students with a certificate for every course completed. Certificates indicate the course title, level attained, number of academic hours completed, as well as course start and end dates.

Corporate clients, as well as clients taking individual lessons, can receive a report on their progress during the course with the tutor's evaluation.

Those taking English or music lessons can, at their own request and expense, be assessed by examination through independent examination commissions, such as Trinity College London, and subsequently be issued with internationally recognised certificates.

A student may have his/her level of Russian as a foreign language assessed by sitting a State examination. Successful performance will lead to a certificate from the Russian Ministry of Education being issued.
